Last week I attended a 3 day event called Wealth Makers in Vaughn, Ontario. I had attended last year as well. Pat Mussieux was the creator of this event. This year she had many more people to help with all the details of such a large venture. I received many great ideas for my business. The best part, aside from that, was to meet all the fabulous entrepreneurs. We had all come together to learn and grow and to share our dreams. We were also able to project our dreams for another year. It was very interesting to read last years plans for 2013. I was amazed at how much I had achieved in just one year, and indeed had surpassed expectations. So I dreamed even bigger this year! How many people put off their dreams by saying, “I’m too old.” “I have too much to do with my children, so there is no time.” “No one would be interested in my ideas.” Etc.
I am here to tell you that I had a few of those thoughts myself. I have been offering Reiki & Allergy Corrections for over 27 years. My business was put on hold a few times, but I never gave up my dream of having a thriving business which was able to help so many people. Though I am older now, I am also more determined to make this work. As many of you have read before, I am a nurse who was able to use Reiki at my place of work in Psychiatry. It was great to be able to do both roles. That was so gratifying! So never give up on your Dreams. They may not look exactly as you originally planned. They may be even greater than you had expected. You just have to be open to the possibilities and opportunites!
So today marked the next step for my business which began by going out into the community. The last Wednesday of October & the last Wednesday’s of each month, I will be working at a place called “The Hive.” This Century old white farmhouse is located at 1352 Wharncliffe Rd. S, just after Teppermans on the left. Click here for a map and more info. I will continue to offer Reiki & Allergy Corrections. The grounds of this farm area are very peaceful. Next time I am there I plan to explore this a bit. It is hard to believe it is in the City of London!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank all who have supported me through my friend Karen’s passing. It has meant a lot to me. Her dog Freckles is settling more and more each day with our two mini schnauzers Kaylee & River. This has all been a process which is made better by friends. Though I still miss her dearly, having her dog here helps. She would have been thrilled that Freckles is settling down with us. She would also have been very happy to see this next stage in my business.
