I received information from CTV news that this year is going to be particularly brutal for those people who suffer from allergies. Check this out at:

Because we have had such a long and continuous winter, all the trees are going to have blossoms at the same time.
The good part of all of this is: it will be a shorter stretch of allergens.
This year for me has been amazing! I no longer have asthma and I have been able to decrease major reactions to allergens. I got into allergy work in the first place because of myself and my family who reacted to many external and internal allergens.
More on Allergies
I have three relevant articles in the archives on my blog. They include Allergy Season has Begun and June and July are going to be amazing months. The last e-zine I particularly recommend is called called Allergies in full swing with Spring. In this article there are nine suggestions on how to cut back on your reactions to the allergy seasons.
My Experience with Allergies
I love to help people and know from my own personal experience that allergies can be helped.
When I spoke to a regular allergy Doctor about what I do and how it has helped me, he had the courtesy to listen. I’m not sure if he thought it would work or not. I did appreciate his attention to what I said.
As I had been on inhaled as well as oral medication and these were stopped after treatment, to me, this experience validated what I do. In the long and short of things, this validation is what matters the most. At times I get some sneezing and just work on whatever it is my body is reacting to.
I hope my personal road to recovery will indeed help you. I know sometimes when there is an intolerance in your system it is tougher to correct the reaction. An intolerance is the body’s reaction to an overloading of the system with more of a substance than it can handle. In other words is it a disturbance of the body’s metabolic/biochemical state.
Client Experiences
For example, I have a client who is allergic to her dog (regular not hypoallergenic.) With Eczema as well, her body is already compromised. Although there was an increase to the tolerance of the dog, it was not enough to not have reactions.Part of this process is having the body heal first, for example, with the eczema. This was happening–and in a relatively short time too! We needed to look at the body as a whole and work on the healing process.
As you may know I always love to talk about Reiki. How when it does some healing work, it heals what is needed first. This may be that the person’s mental status needs to be worked on as this could effect their self esteem. The body works as a whole to heal. And heal it will, once balance occurs. Without balance it will continue to struggle to try to find balance.
So when and if Spring finally arrives, I hope you are able to enjoy it. Having the spring flowers out has really perked me up. It is a reminder that Spring is here, even if it remains cold.
There are many advantages to this kind of spring. You don’t have to cut the grass just yet. You can get some work done in the garden without working up a big sweat. Most of all, with summer will come some heat. I hope we don’t find it too hot. If we do, just remember our long winter and be thankful there is some heat out there finally.
However you choose to deal with your allergies, I hope you can be comfortable and not a slave to the Kleenex!

Happy Spring!
